Ocean Sunfish (Mola mola)

Slowly drawing closer, a shape started to emerge where once only a telltale fin had shown above the ocean surface...	...then the whole animal was visible, lying on it's side sunning itself.
We were allowed to get close enough for fish and man to look each other over for a few seconds.
After a few moments, it slowly settled back into the depths.

The fish is about 5 feet long and about as long between the fin tips, but the body is relatively narrow. It moves with slow, deliberate movements.
